Applications are now open for the 2025 Nicki Meyer Scholarship, as announced by the Hart County Chamber of Commerce. This $1,000 scholarship is awarded annually to a high school senior in Hart County who demonstrates strong character, an entrepreneurial spirit, and community passion.
The scholarship honors Nicki Meyer, who served as the Chamber's Executive Director from 2012 to 2017. Meyer's commitment to economic growth and tourism in Hart County and her efforts to create opportunities for local businesses and residents left a lasting impact. "Her dedication to fostering entrepreneurship and community engagement continues to inspire us today," the Chamber stated.
Eligible applicants are high school seniors in Hart County who show leadership, community involvement, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a commitment to positively impacting their community. The Chamber encourages students who have started their own business, participated actively in local organizations, or demonstrated innovative thinking in their studies to apply.
Applications can be submitted online at hart-chamber.org until April 11, 2025. This scholarship offers financial assistance for future education while continuing the legacy of Nicki Meyer.
