UC Premier Properties and UC Commercial Properties have announced a new mixed-use redevelopment at 34 Depot Street in Hartwell, Georgia. This project, developed by Pridgen Enterprises, is intended to revitalize the area and contribute to both economic growth and community development.
"I am so excited about the revitalization of 34 Depot Street in Hartwell, Georgia. This project is a significant milestone in historic preservation, breathing new life into an abandoned building. This project is adding both residential and commercial spaces to downtown Hartwell and by doing so we are not only preserving our heritage but also driving economic growth and community development. Thank you to everyone who has been involved in this project!” said Jason Ford, Economic Development Director.
The development includes 4,800 square feet of retail space designed to accommodate a variety of businesses, with the option to subdivide the area into smaller units starting at 1,200 square feet. This location aims to attract businesses looking to capitalize on Hartwell's bustling downtown, known for its blend of boutiques, restaurants, and cultural hotspots.
Additionally, the project features six residential condos with modern amenities. These include a one-bedroom ADA-compliant unit, four two-bedroom units with 2 to 2.5 bathrooms, and a three-bedroom unit with 3.5 bathrooms, all featuring high-end fixtures and spacious layouts. The condos range from 959 to 1,242 square feet and are priced under $350,000.
