We have some exciting news!

One of our entries from the Banks County Primary School Ripple Effect Water Movie Contest was chosen to be screened at the “New York Water Week” event. They will show “The Day the Aliens took the Water” from Mrs. Brook’s class.

On March 18th,  Columbia University will host a film festival showcasing documentary films worldwide. World leaders will gather in New York City to discuss the worldwide need for clean water at the “New York Water Week” festival. Documentaries about water from countries such as Africa, Europe, Asia, and the United States, and our very own Banks County!

The screening and judging of the Ripple Effect movies from Mrs. Brooks and Mrs. Jackson’s classes will also premiere in Athens, Georgia, in late March.
