The great 19th century Anglican, JC Ryle, wrote that “Prayer is the most important subject” in our Christian life. It’s quite a claim, but he has a point. What you pray, how you pray, if you pray, all are outward signs of what you believe. The joys of Christian life are cultivated first and foremost in prayer. If you’re like me, you know your prayer life could always be strengthened. For ten Wednesdays, starting Feb 22, we will look at this great and marvelous subject of prayer. We’ll be looking at what it is, why we are to do it, and then spending several weeks examining the model provided for us in the Lord’s Prayer. Come join us as we together seek to develop a life of humble reliance on our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
