Stratford Academy issued the following announcement on May 15. 

Congratulations to Christy Cantrell Johnston ’01 and Coach Ramsey Earnhart for their induction in Macon Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2022.

Christy competed for Stratford in Softball, Cross Country, Basketball, and Soccer winning All-Region, All-State, and All-Middle Georgia honors and played on six state championship teams. She continued her athletic career in soccer at Mercer University where she was four-year letter winner. Christy was inducted in the Stratford Athletic Hall of Fame in 2012. 

Coach Ramsey Earnhart has been coaching at Stratford for 12 years where he is loved by all. He grew up in Ventura, California and played his college tennis at the University of  Southern California. In 1961 and 1962, Coach Ramsey was one of the top collegiate players in the country winning the NCAA Doubles twice and receiving  First-Team All-American honors. His coaching time in Macon has been spent at Idle Hour Country Club, Healy Point Country Club, John Drew Smith Tennis Center, and Stratford.
