Rep. Earl L. “Buddy” Carter, a member of the House Budget Committee, expressed approval following the House's passage of a fiscal year 2025 budget resolution that aligns with President Trump's agenda.
In his statement, Carter highlighted that "the American people’s voice was heard today," emphasizing that the resolution supports key elements such as border security, fiscal responsibility, energy dominance, national security enhancement, extension of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, and reduction of waste and fraud in Washington.
Carter also remarked on the significance of this development: "It’s a new day in America, and this bill represents the change Georgians are demanding after four years of failure under the Biden-Harris Administration." He urged Georgia Senators Ossoff and Warnock to back what he termed a "historic bill" to prioritize America.
