There were five Native American students enrolled in Habersham County school in the 2022-23 school year, 25% more than the previous year, according to reports from the Georgia Department of Education.

Data showed that Habersham County welcomed 6,473 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, Native American students comprised less than 0.1% of the student body to be the least represented ethnicity in the county.

Among the 13 schools in Habersham County, Demorest Elementary School was the only school enrolling Native American students in the 2022-23 school year.
