Enrollment Analysis: Multiracial students comprised 3.1% of Union County's student body during 2022-23 school year

There were 86 multiracial students enrolled in Union County school in the 2022-23 school year, 7.5% more than the previous year, according to reports from the Georgia Department of Education.

Data showed that Union County welcomed 2,813 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, multiracial students comprised 3.1% of the student body to be the third most represented ethnicity in the county.

Among the five schools in Union County, Union County Primary School recorded the highest enrollment of multiracial students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 31 students.

As of 2024, Georgia has an average student-to-teacher ratio of approximately 1:15, which is better than the national average of 1:16. The state has its best student-to-teacher ratio of 14:1 in pre-kindergarten and middle school grades, while high school has an average ratio of 17:1.
