Rabun County Education: Which school had most students enrolled in 2022-23 school year?

Rabun County Elementary School had the highest enrollment among Rabun County schools, welcoming 663 students during the 2022-23 school year, according to the Georgia Department of Education.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 51% of them were male, and 49% were female.

Data also showed that most of the students were white, representing 79% of the Rabun County Elementary School total enrollment.

Among the four schools in Rabun County, Rabun County High School ranked second in enrollment numbers with 632 students, while Rabun County Primary School welcomed 499 students to be ranked third in the 2022-23 school year.

Rabun County Elementary School is part of Rabun County School District, which generally encompasses schools within Rabun County, with its main office in Tiger.

In the previous school year, Rabun County Elementary School also had the highest number of students among Rabun County schools.

As of 2024, Georgia has an average student-to-teacher ratio of approximately 1:15, which is better than the national average of 1:16. The state has its best student-to-teacher ratio of 14:1 in pre-kindergarten and middle school grades, while high school has an average ratio of 17:1.
