5.6% of citizens unemployed in Hart County in 2021

Hart County recorded an unemployment rate of 5.6% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 606 people out of the 25,808 living in Hart County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Hart County has decreased compared to the 6.2% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Hart County was greater than the statewide unemployment rate of 5.5%.

Of the 10,251 people who had a job during that time, 28 were employed in the Armed Forces and 10,223 belonged to the civilian labor force.
