The City of Dahlonega is requesting individual sealed Bids for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment and appurtenances necessary for the Park Street Utility Improvements project.

The Project includes the following: furnishing all products and performing all labor necessary for the construction of approximately 2,800 L.F. of 12” ductile iron water main, 300 L.F. of 6” ductile iron water main, 52 LF of 18” jack and bore, 6-fire hydrants, 20-gate valves (12” & 6”), 20-water service changeovers, 3,200 L.F. of 12” PVC gravity sewer, 17-manholes, 25-sewer service reconnects, 2750 L.F. of 36” – 18” storm sewer, 42-curb inlets, 2400 L.F. of electrical conduit, 14-pull boxes, and including all necessary and required appurtenances and erosion and sedimentation control.

Pre qualification of Bidders is required for the Park Street Utility Improvements project. Beginning on Wednesday, March 22nd, 2023, a copy of the application and qualification requirements can be obtained, via email from Brittany Lee at blee@dahlonega.gov. Completed pre qualification applications will be received at the office of the Purchasing Agent, Attn: Ms. Brittany Lee, 465 Riley Road, Dahlonega, GA 30533 until 5:00 p.m., local time, Friday, April 21st, 2023, All applicants will be notified of their status by Friday, May 12th, 2023. A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at a date to be released later, in the City Hall Council Chambers located at 465 Riley Road, Dahlonega, Georgia. Only Bidders in attendance for the entire meeting will be allowed to submit Bids. Bids are to be submitted to the City at dates to be released after pre-qualification.
