North Georgia Technical College (NGTC) recently named Tina Dellaposta the 2023 Employee of the Year at the college’s annual service awards luncheon.

Dellaposta, a student success coach on the Blairsville campus, has been employed by the college since 2013 and previously served as bookstore assistant and in the library part time. She is also a 23-year veteran of the U.S. Air Force and an NGTC graduate. Dellaposta was nominated by fellow staff members and was complimented on her welcoming spirit, joyful attitude, and willingness to always go above and beyond to help students, faculty, and staff.

“I’m very humbled and honored to receive this award,” said Dellaposta. “Though I am very grateful, I recognize this as a team award because it takes a team to ensure our students are provided exceptional customer service along with a supportive and encouraging learning environment. Everyone at NGTC works hard, so it is a privilege to be selected to hold this team award for the year. I am very thankful to work with this outstanding NGTC team.”
