The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) in coordination with the Georgia Mountains Regional Commission (GMRC) is in the process of creating a Regional Transit Development Plan (TDP).
The community is invited to join the planning team on September 22 for a virtual public meeting. The meeting will introduce the vision, goals, and alternatives for regional transit and allow participants to provide feedback. There are two virtual meeting times, one over the lunch hour and one in the early evening, providing flexibility to accommodate different schedules. Members of the planning team will be available to answer questions and provide more information. The same material will be covered at both meeting times, so interested community members can choose the most convenient option.
