Riverside Military Academy issued the following announcement on May 23.
Cognia, a non-profit, non-governmental accrediting agency for primary and secondary schools, recently awarded Riverside Military Academy (RMA) with a banner and a plaque commemorating one hundred years of excellence as a continuously accredited institution.
“With a focus on school improvement, your institution continues to demonstrate an unwavering commitment, striving to help all students reach their potential,” said Cognia President and CEO, Dr. Mark A. Elgart. “You and your staff continue to create opportunities that propel learners toward college and career readiness.”
Established in 1907 and accredited in 1922, RMA is best known for providing leadership and character development as well as the skills necessary for students to succeed in college and in life.
“We are delighted to be recognized for years of excellence as an all-boys boarding school,” said President COL(R) Stanley “Staṥ” Preczewski. “So many RMA employees, current and previous, can be proud of this achievement because they have all contributed to RMA’s success in developing young leaders.”
