Of the 4,510 people living in Cornelia in 2020, 50.2 percent (2,262) were women and 49.8 percent (2,248) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Georgia Mountain News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 17. In the 65 and over age range, there were 288 females and 271 males.
