Census Bureau: More women than men in Union in 2020

Of the 21,976 people living in Union in 2020, 54.5 percent (11,966) were women and 45.5 percent (10,010) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Georgia Mountain News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 2,847. In the 65 and over age range, there were 1,719 females and 1,193 males.
