COUNTY OF HABERSHAM: 2022 Qualifying Fees Announcement

County of Habersham issued the following announcement on Feb. 2.

The Habersham County Board of Commissioners held a special called meeting for the purpose of setting the 2022 qualifying fees for candidates seeking election for the following public offices:

County Commission District 2

County Commission District 3

Board of Education Dist. 3

Board of Education Dist. 4

Board of Education Dist. 5

?Qualifying Fees for County Offices

The following qualifying fees were established for the offices set forth below:

County Commission District 2 $324.27

County Commission District 3 $324.27

Board of Education Dist. 3 $157.50

Board of Education Dist. 4 $162.00

Board of Education Dist. 5 $153.00

Qualifying Dates

Qualifying for the May 24, 2022, General Primary shall commence from 9:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. Monday March 7, 2022, through Thursday March 10, 2022 and will end at 12:00 noon on Friday, March 11, 2022. These dates are calculated in compliance with O.C.G.A. § 21-2-153(c).
