DAHLONEGA-LUMPKIN COUNTY CHAMBER & VISITORS BUREAU: A Taste of the Mountains 2022 Passport Event

Istock 000010436389 medium

Dahlonega-Lumpkin County Chamber & Visitors Bureau issued the following announcement on Jan. 24.

A Taste of the Mountains will once again be a passport event in 2022. Passports will allow patrons to purchase a coupon book with one-time discounts at local restaurants and other venues that will be valid for 6 months. Proceeds from our sponsors – and from passport sales and the silent auction will support Lumpkin County Family Connection’s (LCFC) efforts to build stable and self-sufficient families. By supporting Taste, you support LCFC and the families in Lumpkin County. Last year sponsorships helped provide over 46,000 pounds of food to children, over $20,400 in emergency assistance to families, over 380 hours of mentoring for children, and over 900 hours of parent education. Thank you in advance for your consideration to support our Family Advocacy Program, Backpack Buddies Program, Mentor Program, and Student Outreach Center. If you would like more information on passports, sponsorships, or LCFC please contact Brigette Barker at 706-864-6189 ext 41126.
