Dahlonega-Lumpkin County Chamber & Visitors Bureau issued the following announcement on Jan. 19.
“Thanks to you all our Dahlonega-Lumpkin Newcomer residents have been welcomed to our community with Newcomer Welcome bags filled with business cards, pen, note pads, water bottles and so much more. The welcome bags have been such a great way to introduce our new residents to our local business community and have saved residents countless hours searching for just the right eye doctor, car repair location, propane gas company, gift shop, and so much more. We are very grateful for your participation in contributing to these valuable bags.
With all of that said we have reached a point where we need to construct more bags for incoming Newcomers and this is where you all come in. If you have material that you wish to be included in the Dahlonega-Lumpkin Newcomer bags we are happy to receive your material. Our plans are to put together new bags beginning in February. Please feel free to drop of any material (business cards, pens, notepads, hand gel, water bottles, etc) at the Visitors Center marked “Dahlonega-Lumpkin Newcomers”. As always we appreciate your efforts to help familiarize our new residents with our wonderful community.”
