Habersham County Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Dec. 3.
Introducing our December Member of the Month: Common Ground Cornelia!!!
Located in downtown Cornelia, Common Ground is a newly renovated event venue for weddings, meetings, retreats, parties, reunions and more! Since opening their doors two years ago, Common Ground has been a tremendous supporter of the Habersham Chamber of Commerce and its programs. They have hosted several Chamber events including SOAR luncheons, Leadership Habersham gatherings, and Young Professional meetings and socials. They serve as a sponsor for the Youth Leadership program, and are participants in the Charlie the Chamber Elf Shop Local promotion. In addition, they have opened up their venue for community events resulting in additional traffic to the downtown district.
Chamber board members and volunteers joined owners John and Emily Rice Herrin (center) with the presentation of the sign and certificate at their location at 643 Irvin Street in Cornelia.
