Riverside Military Academy issued the following announcement on Dec. 3.
Riverside Military Academy (RMA) is returning to the Georgia Independent School Association (GISA) as a full member beginning the 2022-2023 school year. GISA is a non-profit association for private schools that is focused on excellence and collaboration.
“We are very excited about the transition back to GISA and look forward to the opportunities for growth in all of our sports programs from the middle school to varsity level,” said Interim Athletic Director Mark DeFoor.
The decision to return to GISA was made with our student athletes’ best interests in mind. GISA will allow them to compete against peer schools while upholding the mission, vision, and values of the Academy.
