City of Baldwin issued the following announcement on July 24.
It's time to qualify for the City's elected positions!
The council seats open for election are as followed:
The office of City Councilmember of the City of Baldwin, Georgia Post 4
The office of City Councilmember of the City of Baldwin, Georgia Post 5
The office of Mayor of the City of Baldwin, Georgia
The qualifying period for the election will open on Monday, August, 16, 2021 and will continue from day-to-day through Friday, August 20, 2021. The hours of qualifying each day will be from 8:30 am until 4:30 pm, except that qualifying will need at 12:00 noon on August 20, 2021.
The place of qualifying will be the Habersham County Office of Elections and Registration, Habersham County Administrative Building located at 130 Jacob's Way, Suite 101, Clarkesville, Georgia 30523.
The qualifying fee will be $35.00 for each council seat.
