Census Bureau: More women than men in Clayton in 2019

Of the 1,968 people living in Clayton in 2019, 53.9 percent (1,061) were women and 46.1 percent (907) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Georgia Mountain News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 571-to-554. In the 65 and over age range, there were 336 females and 221 males.
