Graduates earn 118 degrees from Truett McConnell University

About 21.2 percent of the 118 degrees and certificates handed out by Truett McConnell University in 2017-18 were to students in theology and religious vocations programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Cleveland conferred 18 bachelor's degrees and 7 master's degrees in theology and religious vocations programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in general business/commerce. Data shows the school gave out 22 bachelor's degrees in general business/commerce, followed by 22 bachelor's degrees in registered nursing/registered nurse and 17 bachelor's degrees in general psychology.

The university enrolled 3,001 students for 2017-18, including 2,919 in undergraduate programs and 82 in graduate programs.
