Cost of college went up for all students at Toccoa Falls College

Tuition and fees rose 2.9 percent for 2018-19 at Toccoa Falls College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Georgia students paid $22,744 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $640 more than the $22,104 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 88 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 187 students received grants or scholarships totaling $2.6 million and 141 students took out student loans totaling more than $931,595.

Including all undergraduates (1,656), 820 students used grants or scholarships totaling $10.9 million, and 595 students took out $3.7 million in federal student loans.
