Cost of college went up for all students at Truett McConnell University

Tuition and fees rose 3.9 percent for 2018-19 at Truett McConnell University, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Georgia students paid $20,230 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $750 more than the $19,480 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 98 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 204 students received grants or scholarships totaling $2.9 million and 122 students took out student loans totaling more than $839,413.

Including all undergraduates (3,001), 2,526 students used grants or scholarships totaling $14.4 million, and 478 students took out $3.2 million in federal student loans.
