42 percent of applicants to Emmanuel College were admitted for fall 2018

At Emmanuel College, 96 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 50 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Franklin Springs enrolled 920 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 5.8 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

71 percent of undergraduates are residents of Georgia, and 22 percent are residents of other states. 7 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (67 percent) and Black or African American (14 percent).

The school admitted 42 percent of the 1,089 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 54 percent enrolled.
