93 percent of applicants to Truett McConnell University were admitted for fall 2018

At Truett McConnell University, 97 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 55 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Cleveland enrolled 3,001 students in fall 2018, including 2,919 in undergraduate and 82 in graduate programs, data shows. 1.4 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

86 percent of undergraduates are residents of Georgia, and 9 percent are residents of other states. 4 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (31 percent) and Black or African American (3 percent).

The school admitted 93 percent of the 677 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 45 percent enrolled.
