Carter secures federal grant for berth replacements at Brunswick Port

Rep. Earl L. "Buddy" Carter (R-GA) has successfully secured a $15 million federal grant for the Georgia Ports Authority (GPA) to replace a port berth and two vessel berths at the Port of Brunswick. This project aims to enhance the efficiency, safety, and reliability of the port.The East River Terminal Berth Replacement Project will involve the demolition and replacement of Berth #2 main dock, as well as the demolition and rebuilding of Berth #3 at half its current length.
