Chairman Palmer stated “The Habersham County Board of Commissioners hope the addition of these beautiful stone benches will allow citizens, friends, and family members to have a place to reflect and remember the ultimate sacrifice made by all veterans recognized by the KIA Memorial”. The county also wishes to thank Ammons Grave Restoration for their assistance with this project and for their continued service in cleaning and maintaining the KIA Memorial. County Manager Alicia Vaughn wishes to thank Habersham County Facility Manager and Veteran, Mike Bramlett, for his dedication to this project.
