Saint Mary’s Sacred Heart Hospital issued the following announcement on June 2.

Congratulations to Karen Hall, LPN, on receiving St. Mary’s June Spirit of Mercy Award!

Karen’s work role is to be the home medicine reconciliation coordinator with St. Mary’s Pharmacy, but she is much more. She has a real passion for helping others, whether that’s decorating the department for holidays or providing support for foster children in our community. Her two nominators praised her for always being willing to help with patient care when she sees her colleagues in the Emergency Department could use a hand. As her manager, Jenny Dickerson said, “Karen embodies our core values. Her kindness speaks volumes.” Congratulations, Karen, and thanks for all you do!
