Registration for Lumpkin 101 Citizens Academy

Registration for the fall, daytime class of the Lumpkin 101 Citizens Academy is now open! This is a free 12-week program beginning September 22, 2022. The program is designed to provide an in-depth look at the diverse functions of county government. This course will not only increase your knowledge of local government, but will also provide you with an opportunity to build relationships with those who serve you on a daily basis. We are experimenting with a daytime course, so participants will attend a weekly Thursday 10:00a.m. – noon course at various locations around the county to learn more about what it takes to make county government function. If you can’t attend a daytime course, don’t worry – we still intend to offer an evening course next year!  We hope you will join us!
