Regional Transit Development Plan

0Comments

Save the Date! GMRC in coordination with the Georgia Department of Transportation is developing a regional transit development plan. Our second set of virtual public meetings are on September 22, starting at 12pm and 6pm. Visit the TDP website, https://regionaltdp-gdot.hub.arcgis.com/pages/gmrc, for meeting details.

The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) in coordination with the Georgia Mountains Regional Commission (GMRC) is in the process of creating a Regional Transit Development Plan (TDP).

The community is invited to join the planning team on September 22 for a virtual public meeting. The meeting will introduce the vision, goals, and alternatives for regional transit and allow participants to provide feedback. There are two virtual meeting times, one over the lunch hour and one in the early evening, providing flexibility to accommodate different schedules. Members of the planning team will be available to answer questions and provide more information. The same material will be covered at both meeting times, so interested community members can choose the most convenient option.

Option 1: September 22, 2022, from 12 PM to 1 PM and accessible through the following zoom link:  https://us02web.zoom.us/j/88152841114

Call in: (309) 205-3325; Meeting ID: 88152841114

Option 2: September 22, 2022, from 6 PM to 7 PM and accessible through the following zoom link:  https://us02web.zoom.us/j/87097171213

Call in: (309) 205-3325; Meeting ID: 87097171213

All community members are encouraged to attend one of the virtual meetings. If community members are unable to make either of the live, virtual meetings, they will be able to review meeting materials and provide input on the TDP website, https://regionaltdp-gdot.hub.arcgis.com/pages/gmrc, starting in late September.
