Recycling at the Dawson County Transfer Station will be HALTED as it completes renovations that will allow for a better recycling service.  There is no ETA on when the renovations will be completed and recycling resumed. 

With more than 90% of the materials we receive being contaminated and unable to be properly recycled, Dawson County has been working on ways to continue to provide this service in an efficient and economically responsible manner.  You can do your part by reviewing information on how to prepare your recyclables before you head to the Transfer Station to ensure they are not contaminated:
