Habersham County Sheriff’s Office issued the following announcement on Apr. 9. 

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month.  In recognition, our Criminal Investigations Division wore blue to promote awareness.  HCSO CID takes a hard stance against the abuse, of any kind, of our children and will aggressively pursue anyone committing such behavior. 

If you need assistance or if you are aware of a child being abused, please call 911, submit an anonymous tip via our website or use any of the resources listed in the resource section.
