Midgrade gas was sold at the lowest price of $2.84 per gallon at one gas station in Habersham County during the week ending Feb. 21, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
The county registered an average of $3.10 per gallon for midgrade gas.
Of the 45 reported gas stations located within Habersham County, nine offered midgrade gas.
For comparison, the average price of midgrade gas in Georgia was $3.10 per gallon for the week ending Feb. 21, down from the previous week.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
