Habersham County Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on June 2.

Congratulations to our JUNE Members of the Month- Fenders Diner and Fenders Alley!

Located in downtown Cornelia, Fenders Diner has been a north Georgia classic for decades.  In 2020 owners Jay and Melissa Reeder restored and relaunched the classic diner, and later expanded into the adjacent lot with the creation of Fenders Alley – an outdoor dining, music and entertainment venue.

Fenders has been a tremendous supporter of the Chamber of Commerce and its programs. They have hosted several Chamber events including SOAR luncheons, Young Professional meetings and socials, and most recently the Habersham Power Hour Networking Group. The growth and expansion of their business has resulted in additional traffic to the downtown district.

Chamber board members and volunteers joined staff with the presentation of the sign and certificate at their location at 631 Irvin Street in Cornelia.

We appreciate you, Fenders!
