The Dahlonega City Council honored four employees this evening for exceptional service to their community in 2022. Garrett Harris and Miki Mullis were recognized as Employee of the Year nominees for their work that went above and beyond: Garrett for his dedication to mentoring new sanitation employees, and Miki for her expansive work to improve the city’s occupational tax and business licensing system.

Brittany Lee was selected as the City of Dahlonega’s Employee of the Year for 2022. Many of her coworkers nominated her because of her dedication to streamlining the city’s purchasing systems while also supporting the finance department in so many other facets. Not only does Brittany excel with her finance duties, she provides support to all other departments within the city, always with a friendly and helpful attitude.

Mary Csukas was also honored this evening for acting not only as the city’s clerk, but supervising and mentoring the Downtown Development staff for over a year. Her dedication to the city is greatly apppreciated.
