DAHLONEGA-LUMPKIN COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE: Taste of the Mountains Passport Event
0Comments

Dahlonega-Lumpkin County Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Apr. 12.

A Taste of the Mountains will once again be a passport event in 2022. Passports will allow patrons to purchase a coupon book with one-time discounts at local restaurants and other venues that will be valid for 6 months. If purchased on eventbrite, the passport will be mailed to the mailing address you provide. There is also the option to purchase passports at the Dahlonega/Lumpkin County Chamber of Commerce starting in May with no fees.

Proceeds from our sponsors – and from passport sales and the silent auction will support Lumpkin County Family Connection’s (LCFC) efforts to build stable and self-sufficient families. Last year support helped us provide over 46,000 pounds of food to children, over $20,400 in emergency assistance to families, over 380 hours of mentoring for children, and over 900 hours of parent education.

Patrons can still shop amazing items at our online silent auction and also vote for their favorite restaurants in various categories using QR codes printed inside of the book. Participating restaurants and their coupons will be listed on our website at https://lumpkin.gafcp.org/ as they are added. Passports can be preordered by purchasing an eventbrite ticket and will be mailed to you to use during May 1 – October 2022.

Passports can be preordered by purchasing an eventbrite ticket starting on April 1st.  The passport will then be mailed to you to use during May – October 2022. After May 1, purchase Taste Passports in person at the Dahlonega Visitors Center.
