The City of Toccoa is pleased to report that it has received a Fiscal Year 2023 Rural Business Development Grant from the United States Department of Agriculture. Grant funds will be utilized to construct an annex addition to the Historic Ritz Theatre.

“We are thankful to the USDA for once again supporting the City of Toccoa in its continued vision for the development of the Historic Ritz Theatre,” stated Terry Carter, City Commission Liaison to the Downtown Development Authority. “In 2018, they provided funding to renovate our balcony and dressing rooms. This time, their funding will help with the construction of a new annex that will feature a large lobby, concession stand, bathrooms, and more. We are looking forward to breaking ground on this annex and furthering the goals of the Ritz Theatre as a downtown economic anchor.”
