Business Spotlight:  Destiny Mortgage Lending

Owner: Melanie Walburg

Destiny Mortgage Lending is located at 436 Academy Ave Dawsonville. We are a mortgage brokerage. We provide many home loan options at the lowest interest rate for home purchase or refinance anywhere in GA, FL, AL, or SC.  We provide loan options that many banks and retail lending institutions won’t touch, and since our interest rates are lower than our competitors, we can get home buyers approved for a higher-priced home than the competition.

Melanie Walburg, the owner of Destiny Mortgage Lending, has been a loan officer/loan originator for nearly 30 years.  After initially starting as a receptionist, Melanie quickly soaked up the knowledge around her and worked her way to branch manager.  She realized there was a lot of greed in the corporate world and set out to start her own mortgage company to offer more favorable terms and better savings to borrowers.  In June of 2005 she opened her own mortgage company Destiny Mortgage Lending, destined to be your mortgage choice.  The company was named after her young daughter Destiny.

As a native of Georgia, Melanie moved to Dawson County from Forsyth in 2004, seeking a more rural and quite area. Melanie states her, and her family love living in a friendly small town with a wonderful church family!

Our downtown office, the old pink farmhouse, is open Monday thru Thursday from 9:30 to 6:00, but we are also working when we aren’t at the main office.  We’re pretty much accessible anytime that we aren’t sleeping. Our email is Info@DestinyMortgageLending.com and the website is www.DestinyMortgageLending.com. Feel free to stop by to say hello, we would love to help you with your lending needs!
