Business Member Spotlight: Len Foote Hike Inn

Executive Director: Eric Graves

Eric Graves is the Executive Director for The Len Foote Hike Inn. He had a background in Wildlife Management before stepping into this role 20 years ago.

The Len Foote Hike Inn is located within the Chattahoochee National Forest. Five miles, by trail, from the Amicalola Falls State Park. We are Georgia’s only backcountry lodge and offer a rustic bed and breakfast experience. Environmental education and conservation are at the basis of our operation and core. A good place to disconnect from modern technologies and enjoy the people you are with.

The different Chamber events we attend and host, including multiple Leadership Dawson retreats, have become our “store front” as the Inn’s store front is a 5-mile hike away! These events have been vital for raising awareness within the local business community about what Len Foote Hike Inn has to offer.

Our weekends and peak Spring and Fall seasons often book 11 months in advance so plan ahead! We are a great overnight trip for locals who have friends and family in town visiting and are looking for something adventurous that does not have them sitting in Atlanta traffic! Christmas Eve and Christmas Day are our only scheduled closed days each year.

Information about the Inn and reservations can be made at www.hike-inn.com
